Wherever I lay my hat…..

I did the ceremonies at the weekend wearing my top hat as the Tricorn hadn't arrived with Jane so wasn't ready for me.

I have received some photos from my awesome tailor, Jane. The hat has arrived and has now been finished in gold trim and stunning feathers.

The colour of the feathers has been chosen because Red and Blue are the colours of the Royal Regiment of Artillery. The late Queen Elizabeth, during my service with the Royal Artillery, was Captain General of the Royal Artillery. A fitting, albeit accidental tribute I think!
