Seal of Approval

As a result of what seemed like a good idea at the time, I hatched a plan to make a wax seal to use on my “Official” Town Crier correspondence.
These were some of the drafts:
I didn’t really like them but then, with the help of a logo designer, I came up with this one:
All I had to do now was find someone who did custom seals and I’d be a winner! Easier (and pricier) than I thought.
I eventually got my seal stamp back, and jolly nice it was too.


They were pretty good quality to be fair. Now all I needed was wax, silicon moulds and a melting pot. Temu to the rescue (eventually).
Here are some of the first few seals that I made:
It was at this point that I realised that 99.9% of my official correspondence is via email and therefore a wax seal was pretty redundant
I then realised that I usually present a framed copy of my proclamation when I perform as a guest speaker so figured a seal on that may look good.

Other than that I use them for Christmas and birthday cards!
