Coronation Celebrations Part 2

Today saw me heading off to John Whitehead Park in Billingham to play my part in the town's celebrations.

I was there at 0900 to drop off some cable shield but ended up helping to set up the gazebos. I hadn't intended to stay but the lure of a free sausage bap and a cup of Joe was just too irresistible!

Getting the gazebos erected was traumatic to say the least. To the ladies of the Town Council admin team - I love you all, you know I do, but don't ever ask me to go camping with you!

Fast forward to 1100 changing into my livery, and accompanied by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant (We'll have to stop meeting like this Mark), we had a re-run of yesterday's proclamation by myself followed by a message for the people of Billingham from the new King and Queen.

A quick bit of lunch courtesy of the Cafe in the Park followed by a quick pose with a familiar face and I was heading off to freshen up for my next engagement.
